Clan Wulfgard Policies - Officers
The officers of the clan are volunteers. Membership in the clan does not require being an officer at any time. Being an officer is another path of service that can enhance the feelings of pride and contribution. When a member of the clan desires to become an officer of the household, they communicate that to the High Chief or High Chieftess. In the case where there is an officer already in place then the officer themselves decides if they wish to choose a deputy. Having a deputy is an excellent way for the officer to teach a member that at some later time they will support as their successor.
Because being a clan officer is taking a more active role in the leadership and education of the clan members, it is one of the times that an oath (or promise) of office is performed. The oath represents a promise between the officer and their Chief, emphasizing support and trust in each other.

In the spirit of this raven, the Muninn of Clan Wulfgard, as the chronicler, maintains and organizes the mailing list and contact information for the clan members.
