Ginger Lemon Aide

I am so pleased that people enjoyed the Ginger Aide served in the
Royal pavilion this weekend.  Several requests were made for the
recipe, so here it is. 

Serves 20

4 Qt. Water
3 C Sugar
14 slices peeled Ginger
2 Qt. Lemon Juice

Heat the water, sugar and ginger to a boil.  Simmer gently for 10-15
minutes.  Remove from heat and combine with lemon juice.  Allow to
chill over night, and strain (to remove the ginger) before serving.

As a side note, I recommend freezing some of the mixture over night
as well, so you can use it to keep the drink cool with out watering
it down.
