Laird Wulfric's Bread Pudding
This most incredible pudding has been served at many an event across the known world and caused many a bread pudding convert. Laird Wulf still makes it the best!!!
1/2 loaf of bread, stale is better 1/4 tsp nutmeg 1-13oz can evaporated milk 1 tsp vanilla 6 eggs 1/2 cup melted butter, divided 1 cup sugar 1 cup raisins 2 tsp cinnamon 1/3 cup brown sugar Tear bread into pieces and set aside. Mix together in a large bowl the milk,
eggs, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. Blend well. Add 1/4 cup melted
butter, raisins, and bread. Mix well. Pour into a loaf pan and pour remaining
butter on the top. Sprinkle with brown sugar and bake for 40 min at 350
degrees. It is great served hot or cold. It can be served with heavy cream
or pudding on top also.
